Denis is the 7th Born in a family of 7 children (4 girls and 3 boys). He is 9 years old. Denis currently lives with his young sister (Scovia) and their mother. Their other siblings live in Soroti with their maternal grandmother.
 
He loves playing football and helps the mother with fetching water, firewood, and cleaning the compound. Her mother is active with encouraging Denis to study hard, and provides all the needed scholastic materials to ensure that Denis stays in school at all times.
