Jane is a 56-year-old widow with eight adult children.  She cares for many of her grandchildren.  They help her in her garden where she grows beans, maize, potatoes, and coffee.  Selling coffee is her major source of income.  She also raises goats and chickens.
 
Jane really loves being a part of Far Away Friends because it makes her feel connected to other women.
