Prisca has two siblings; her sister married at the age of 14 and left home. Her mother must use a stick for walking, due to an injury. She tries to earn money by working in other people's gardens but she is unable to earn enough to send her daughter to school. Prisca would be in the Primary 2 class if she was able to go to school.
