Love in a Lunch
Alleviating hunger and getting more kids in school - that's the goal of Love in a Lunch! Your recurring gift will help us accomplish that goal. You can also choose to make a Kid Connection and communicate with one of the students at Bubago Lutheran Nursery & Primary School twice a year!
Need-Based Scholarships
Connect to Uganda's model for supporting education in Bubago is to support staff salaries and provide lunch for students at the school. Families are expected to provide all other requirements. However, there will always still be those who can't afford even minimal support for their children. These kids may apply for a Need-Based Scholarship, with a recommendation from the Lutheran Church of Uganda. A monthly commitment of $21, which can also be paid annually, will provide a Scholarship Connection and allow these kids to get an education.
Pastor Support Program
Pastors in Uganda are supported only by their local congregations.
The Pastor Support Program will provide funding for a pastor who has submitted a plan for a business that he and his family can run to generate income. Click on the PSP button to learn more!
