Library is Thriving!

One of C2U's requests when we partnered with the Lutheran Church of Uganda to build a primary school in Bubago was that it include a library - a place where kids could read for pleasure. We knew it would improve their English and expand their vocabularies!

Since the building was completed, C2U has taken hundreds of books donated by friends and stocked the library. We've also purchased books locally that include stories that incorporate the Ugandan culture.

Students at the school have a designated time to visit the library each week and read. We love that they have been given this opportunity!
