As students move from primary to secondary school, expenses increase. Tuition is more, additional supplies are needed and boarding versus day school becomes even more important. One way Connect to Uganda is working to offset those costs is the Goats for Education Program.

When they are in Primary 6, the Need-Based Scholarship students each receive two goats, and a full day of training. As the goats reproduce and offspring are sold, proceeds go into a special bank account set aside strictly for secondary school expenses.
