It’s hard to believe I’m back home. The vibrant energy, the infectious laughter, and the overwhelming sense of purpose in Uganda are still echoing in my heart. My second mission trip was an experience that has profoundly impacted me, leaving me with a renewed sense of gratitude and a deeper understanding of God’s love.
Reuniting with familiar faces was like coming home to a second family. Seeing the progress made since my last visit was nothing short of incredible. The new school and girls’ dormitory stand as testaments to the power of community and generosity. It was truly inspiring to witness these tangible results of our collective efforts.
Spending time with my scholarship student, Rashida, was a highlight. Watching her grow in confidence and academic ability filled my heart with joy. It's a privilege to be a part of her journey. And to see the entire village thriving and evolving over the past year was simply astonishing. The transformation is a clear reflection of God's love poured out in abundance.
As I adjust to life back home, I find myself constantly drawn back to the memories of Uganda. The experiences I’ve had have ignited a fire within me, a passion to continue serving and making a difference. I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of something so extraordinary.
Until next time Uganda,
Morgan Kiffmeyer
